We've arrived! We are anchored in Radio Bay (we did hear your advice Scott and Donna, just the lure of showers was WAY too strong :).
We are in a rush to get to customs to get cleared in, they are staying late for us, so I wanted to post that we are here, but details will be forthcoming.
Thanks to you all for following along and all your cheers, we heard them over the ocean thanks to my Mom!
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteHave a great time in Hawaii.
Jess- Your blog was great fun, vicariously crossing the ocean while still getting to take a shower every day and having fresh fruit.

Aloha! Enjoy showers, white and black sand beaches, mai this, ice cream, showers, and the knowledge you successfully completed a blue water passage. Nicely done, Bjorklund family!

ReplyDeleteWoot! So happy for you guys! Looks like you won our informal race - we didn't touch down in Victoria until yesterday afternoon. Enjoy Hawai'i!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great accomplishment! This is Neil and Tally Armand aboard s/v Raven – we met you and your family in Bodega Bay and again in Santa Cruz. We are leaving San Diego on Sunday, headed to Aruba. If you would like to follow our blog, it is: http://theravenodyssey.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteAgain, Congratulations!
Congrats on getting to Hawaii, really appreciate you posting your progress! I got on to reading your blog only this weekend but read Seattle through Hawaii in one go. Enjoy Hilo, I was there last year with my family and really liked the poke at the Suisan Fish Market. The Imiloa Astronomy Center was really interesting too. They have some neat stuff on the settling of the Hawaiian islands and how they navigated from the south pacific using wayfinders.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Scott from Victoria
Yippee!!!! That is awesome news! Been thinking about you. Enjoy your time in Hawaii. xoxo
