The barometer continues to climb, wind velocities have dropped significantly, but since the winds are still coming from the NE, we probably aren't quite there yet. But we want to be so badly, because it's a milestone for this passage! We have all sail up and are sailing quickly, but it's still close hauled (heeled over) and we are having to fight to not go west. We wanna go east!!
Lego play continues in earnest. I've read a couple of books and so has Tor. We are passing the time happily, but we are excited to be getting to Sitka.
Tor and I pulled out the wool socks and boots today, brrr!
