We have two healthy and GROWING boys! They each got 3 shots, boo.
Here are the stats:
Odin
length: 29.3”, 35.72% (comparison: 9 months 16.50%, 6 months 9.44%)
weight: 20 lbs, 11.89% (comparison: 9 months 5.07%, 6 months 2.39%)
head circumference: 17.91”, 25.09% (comparison: 9 months 19.27%, 6 months 6.36%)
Lars
length: 31", 85.02% (comparison: 9 months 66.66%, 6 months 30.01%)
weight: 23 lbs 3 oz, 56.85% (comparison: 9 months 30.06%, 6 months 14.13%)
head circumference: 18.5", 69.16% (comparison: 9 months 52.77%, 6 months 21.67%)
The doctor actually said “it’s like we aren’t even measuring the same kids,” and “well, it looks like both of them are making their own growth curves.” I guess it is unusual for kids to jump up in the percentiles so much for so long, but let’s face it, we always knew these kids were going to be big given the genetics, they just had some catch up growing to do. The boys are obviously differently built and the weight discrepancy between them just keeps growing…but they are both jumping up through the charts! It’s our job to keep feeding them, and their jobs to eat (TONS!) and keep growing. It’ll be interesting to see where they level off.

OMG! They are on their own curve(s)! They will eventually slow down (usually when the start walking) and just start growing up, instead of gaining so much weight. I can't believe how big they are getting, Sara is 21 lbs and she is huge!
