Previous msg should have said 38 miles offshore of Mendocino. We are now at 39 35.54 124 34.28 passing cape vizcaino. Seas are up and jumbled and we have about 25 knots of wind. We are running with a reefed mizzen and reefed main and no headsails. A bit rolly but not too bad. Feels safe if not quite comfortable. A bit over 100 miles to go. Love tor
I got a couple of phone calls today, and they expect to be in Bodega Bay this afternoon around 3:30! It's too late today to get into Tomales Bay at slack water, so they will tie up in Bodega and we will drive and pick them up for showers, laundry and sleep in a still bed. We will move the boat down to Tomales soon.
Sounds like over all it has been a great passage. We will be glad to have them here!
