I was in the kitchen and heard Odin just losing it. I came out to find this:
Lars crawled right over Odin and got stuck...Odin was NOT happy.
Twenty minutes later I heard Lars losing it. I came out to find this:
Odin got his revenge, but I'm still not sure how he did it since he isn't crawling yet. Probably a strategic fall from a sitting position.
Aren't they fun?

Waving!
Yesterday Odin started waving at me. He LOVES that he can get a response out of me by doing it. Each mealtime yesterday he put his little hand up high in the air and would alternately cup and open his hand in the baby wave. I would do it right back and he would just grin and giggle. It is TOO much fun to interact with him that way. Odin is our social kid!
Here's the wave!
Here's the grin when I wave back
Sitting up on his own
I have yet to see him actually do it, but Lars can now sit up on his own. On Sunday I was working on taxes and Lars crawled over to play with some papers I put on the floor for recycling. Next thing I knew, I looked down and he was sitting up and playing with the paper. This morning I was cooking breakfast and when I left the room Lars had been crawling around, but when I came back, he was sitting up. Good thing I dropped the cribs to the lowest level yesterday, he'll be pulling up in no time flat!
Fourth Fang for Lars
On Sunday we noticed another pearly white in Lars' mouth. The upper front tooth on the right is appearing...he won't look like such a snaggletoothed little guy anymore. Bummer, it's cute!

Swimming Lessons!
Today was the first day of swimming lessons. We had so much fun! We are scheduled for mid-day Friday since Tor has Fridays off (of paying work :) ) which was a great choice since it wasn't too crowded. It's amazing how much work it takes to get kiddos ready for swimming, and then you multiply that by 2, thankfully I'm not doing it alone. Grandma Jean and Grandpa Lee came by to watch and bonus(!) get photos of the fun.
Both Lars and Odin seemed to like being in the pool, though they did get cold. Fortunately there is a sauna at Evans pool so we all warmed up before hitting the showers.
Odin fell asleep in the car about 3 minutes from home, I was able to transfer him to his bed and he has been sleeping for almost an hour and a half. He even slept through lunch! Lars ate more than his fare share of avocado, cheese, carrot, applesauce, tofu and Os before heading to bed....he too slept for an hour and a half. Good clean sleep inducing fun. I wish I could take a nap!

Aquarium
Last weekend Grandma Cheryl and Grandpa Ralph were visiting and all 6 of us went the the Aquarium. We had a grand time! The boys took in everything and seemed to have a great time. I think they saw some fish, but mostly they liked the people and hustle and bustle. I haven't been there since they remodeled and it is so cool! They made some really neat changes, but kept the old goodies the same. We let the boys out of the stroller at the underwater dome and honestly the heater vent was more interesting than the fish, but this Mama sure enjoyed sharing the experience with her kiddos! It will be so much fun to continue going back with them as they grow up and see through their eyes a favorite place of mine.
Odin in the underwater dome
Lars in the dome
Yep, we were THAT family hogging a whole section of floor in the dome
The heater vent may have been the highlight for this trip, but we'll see what it is next time
